YARN AND FIBER GLASS PRODUCTS “ HT 75 “
DESCRIPTION

The yarn, type “HT 75” textured for high temperature, is composed by high quality fiber glass “E”, with diameter from 6 to 9 micron. During the working process the yarn is subjected to a chemical change with an increase of SiO2 percentage value.
This permits to the product “ HT 75 “ to be utilized in continuous up to the temperature of 700°C.
Up to 600° C there is no important shrinkage.

Peaks up to: 750°C
Mechanical remaining strength at 700°C: > 20%
Resistance to acids, alkali and grease: good
Resist. to splashes of white hot metal: good
Shrinking after exposure at 700°C: <1%
Low electrical conductivity
Not toxic product

APPLICATIONS

The product is utilized for thermal insulation, thermocouple compensator, and in case of impregnated products with low thermal resistance.
